The Cleveland Archival Roundtable (CAR), founded in 1989, is an organization of archivists, historians, and other individuals interested in the preservation and use of the rich historical resources of greater Cleveland and the Western Reserve region. CAR meets to tour archival, historical, and cultural repositories, discuss areas of mutual concern, and promote professional development and collaboration among members.

CAR adopted the following policy on posting internship announcements on November 13, 2019:
The Cleveland Archival Roundtable will post internship position announcements that provide interns with monetary compensation, educational credit, or both. We recommend that institutions offering internships follow the SAA’s guidelines for Best Practices for Internships as a Component of Graduate Archival Education. Organizations seeking volunteers to assist with archives projects are encouraged to review and follow the SAA’s Best Practices for Volunteers in Archives.
